The dusty, post-apocalyptic world of George Miller’s Mad Max is gearing up for an explosive return with the upcoming prequel, Furiosa. Slated for a May 2024 premiere, this epic installment delves into the origins of Charlize Theron’s iconic Fury Road character, now portrayed by the talented Anya Taylor-Joy.

The recently unveiled trailer promises a gripping narrative set 45 years after the fall of civilization. Taylor-Joy’s young Imperator Furiosa takes center stage, her flowing hair intact as the story unfolds. According to a Variety report, while talking about his character Dementus, Chris Hemsworth said, “He’s a complicated individual. He’s a very violent, insane, brutal person that is born from the Wasteland, which is the world the ‘Mad Max’ saga takes place in. He’s a product of his environment.”
